BEEF STEW

  INGREDIENTS  

  • 1.5 lbs stew beef

  • 1lb bag frozen vegetable soup veggies

  • 1/2 20oz bag mixed vegetables

  • 4oz frozen okra

  • 1 serv medium barley

  • 1 can stewed tomatoes (12oz can)

  • 3 cans tomato sauce (8oz cans)

  • 1.5 cup chicken broth

  • 1 red onion

  • 1 yellow onion

  • t 1ablespoon minced garlic

  • 3 bay leaves

  • garlic powder (to taste)

  • black pepper (to taste)

  • paprika (to taste)

  • oregono (to taste)

  • thyme (to taste)

  • crockpot liner

  INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1

Brown all the beef in a heated saucepan

STEP 4

Stir in the Browned beef and add seasoning.

STEP 2

Pour stewed tomatoes, vegetables, minced garlic, and onions into a lined crock pot.

STEP 5

Cover and let cook 4-6 hours routinely stirring the mixture.

STEP 3

Set crock pot on medium or middle setting (if only two options choose low). Then add in the tomato sauce, barley, and chicken broth
